Your role: create and execute workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support our expansion of this model to campuses nationwide.
This position focuses on data-informed teaching, technology integration, and constructing a reading curriculum that serves thousands of students—not administrative busywork.

What You Will Be Doing
• Conducting adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
• Creating individualized motivational sessions leveraging gamified literacy benchmarks
• Evaluating student performance data to improve instructional methods and identify actionable trends
• Partnering with engineering teams to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-integrated content that supports early elementary students in reaching grade-level reading proficiency

Basic Requirements
Instructional Coach key responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions for early elementary students
• Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student interaction patterns within these tools
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
• Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Plano, TX; Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
